The world’s cheapest car, just got an expensive makeover. JA Motorsport has transformed the humble Tata Nano, meant for a common man, into a crazy 230 bhp machine that can do 190 km/h. The turbocharged version of the new Tata Nano, now supports a 1.3 liter engine that’s good for 230 HP, giving the tiny car raucous acceleration and a ripping sound.
The new Nano, which is as powerful as an Audi S1, is now known as “India’s Fastest Hot Hatch.” The car, which used to not even support adjustable seats, now come with Recaro seats, a racing-style wheel, a lowered and widened suspension, upgraded AP brakes, and ultralight racing-style wheels fitted, for show purposes, to a set of ultra-sticky track day tires. The incredible Nano sports blacked-out dashboard with carbon-fibre accents, digital racing instrument panel mounted on the same and aluminium paddle shifters & foot pedals rounding-off the package. The car looks very different thanks to the full body kit, the slick tyres, bolt-on roll cage, dark grey alloys wheels, MRF ZLO racing slicks, as well as the smoked head and taillamps.
It’s a bit unpractical for a common man, who uses the car for a daily commute, but if you happen to love the race-track, the new super Nano, can be your new little best friend. However, the cost of owning the Super Nano is a Rs. 25 lacs.
