This week in Mumbai it’s all about Diwali 2.0. Yup, you heard us right. We’re taking the traditional and mixing it up a little by giving it a spin. For instance, swap the regular mithai for some mouth-watering gourmet treats from Theobroma or why not enjoy Diwali lunch with your family, with a pizza instead of a puri at Pizza Metro Metro? And if you’re looking to really switch it up, head to Phoenix Market City in Kurla for some Vegas-style Diwali card party. Whatever you choose to do this Diwali, don’t forget to keep it fun, exciting and most importantly, off beat.
Me Nathurm Godse Boltoy
Written by Pradeep Dalvi, Me Nathuram Godse Boltoy is a poignant, thought-provoking play that dwells on the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi from the point of view of the convict, Nathuram Godse. Divided into two acts, the play sheds light on Godse’s defence and highlights aspects of the case, not well known by many. A fascinating watch to say the least, particularly if you are a theatre-goer!
