Are you bored of the weekly schedule? And, now that the IPL is finally over, its time to move and and do something refreshing this week. Move over the regular drinking, dancing and watching movies sessons and head to a unique space called The Warehouse in Mahalaxmi, platform for ideas, inspiration and knowledge, created by people coming together, to either learn, teach or informally share.
Probably, the new zen destination of the city, the Warehouse is opened by Rohita Kilachand, a Teach for India alumna who wants her programming to engender “ideas, inspiration and knowledge”. At the Warehouse, you could learn by doing, and participate in a variety of exciting workshops. You could come for a gathering night and get inspired by people sharing their stories. Opened from Wednesday to Sunday, this cool place has workshops and events range from arts, crafts, music, dance, food…etc. The Warehouse also seeks to be the balance for the virtual world. A space real interactions take place, allowing the ‘magic’ to occur through discussions and meetings.
Warehouse, which opened last week, has a line up of activities and workshops, which can include everything from copper enameling and spiritual workshops to Friday night gatherings where various speakers. You can attend the first one on Friday, June 6 will be about personal victories and overcoming challenges. For more information click here.
