World’s luxurious Smartphone Vertu has turned to Android, to pace with the Smartphone industry. Its new handset Constellation is one the most expensive phones in the world, running on on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The Constellation is an entry-level phone by Vertu’s standards, which projects a resolution is 720p and pixel density of 342ppi. The screen is protected by 5.1-inch 100-carat sapphire glass, which makes it scratch proof as well, and the entire handset is put together in a titanium case. A Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260 S4 Pro – dual-core Krait CPU at 1.7GHz and Adreno 320, powers it. The new Constellation comes with a trending 13-megapixel rear camera with a dual-LED flash and a capability of shooting video at 1080p. The front facing camera comes with a 1.3 MP sensor. The ultra-luxurious smartphone include unlimited access to all iPass Wi-Fi points around the world, access to exclusive VIP clubs, encrypted speech, personal protection and tracking.
For a final extravagant touch, the Vertu Constellation comes with a fancy calf skin leather back. The opulent leather back is offered in five different shades: cappuccino, mocha, orange, raspberry, and classic black. The new constellation will be available from October in select stores worldwide. The Vertu Android Smartphone is available for $6,600 (approx. Rs. 4, 08,804).
