This year, the opulent hotel will host the Asparagus Festival at three of its distinctive restaurants—Shamiana, Wasabi by Morimoto and The Zodiac Grill. Created by Grand Executive Chef Hemant Oberoi, the menu aims to show diners the versatility of the exquisite asparagus.
The prestigious Festival celebrates the prime season for asparagus is between April and June, and they say that the flavour improves as the weather warms up.At Shamiana, the hotel’s all-day restaurant, they’re serving asparagus cappuccino, asparagus-stuffed chicken, asparagus with glass noodles and smoked tofu, and asparagus souffle among other dishes.Wasabi by Morimoto gives the vegetable an oriental twist with dishes such as asparagus sunomono and the chef’s signature Shiro asparagus and chocolate tempura for dessert.
Finally, the prestigious Zodiac Grill indulge in Degustation Menu dedicated to the aristocrat of vegetables – Asparagus. The Gourmet Specialties include Mullard Duck, Asparagus Popsicle, Crimson Pacific Crabmeat Roesti and a variety of mouthwatering dishes. Vegetarian delicacies including, Asperge Pesto Tortellini, Asparagus Soufflé, Atlas Vert Three Treasure and many more. For dessert don’t miss the Purple Passion Cheese Cake a delightful combination of Almond Crumble, Honey and Asparagus Ice Cream.
