Taj Group introduces its newly rebranded London Hotels


Taj Hotels has rebranded its London hotels after taking over full ownership and management. Its two new London hotels, St James’ Court, A Taj Hotel and Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences, would now be promoted within the Taj Group’s portfolio of luxury hotels, resorts, and palaces.

Together, the two hotels occupy parts of eight six-story houses from the late 1800s: King’s, Queen’s, Prior’s, Falconer’s, Minister’s, Almoner’s, Duke’s, and Regent’s House, surrounding a shared courtyard. The new St James’ Court hosts a total of 338 rooms and suites, and three restaurants, including Quilon, which has a Michelin star for its “South West Coastal Indian Cuisine”. Here, you can enjoy some of the enhanced and differentiated experiences include in-room check in, signature welcome and signature fragrances, while sipping on 24 Karat Gold Afternoon Tea. The luxury of this hotel also lies in the extensive fleet of exclusive vintage and classic vehicles, including the Queen Mother’s favorite Jaguar DS420 Daimler limousine ‘Grand Princess’ and Lord Mountbatten’s vintage Daimler ‘Silver Baroness’.
Taj 51 Buckingham Gate has just 86 suites and residences, among which are the riotously decorated Cinema Suite (above) and a Presidential Suite that can extend up to 3,500 square feet. However, the hotel provides some exquisite bespoke experiences such as the Taj Royal Attache butler service, optional Jaguar airport transfers and exclusive horse and carriage rides. Guests at both of the hotels will benefit from complimentary WiFi, superlative Clefs d’Or (Golden Keys) Concierge service, tailored treatments at the Wellness Centre.

A Queen Room at the St. James’ Court starts at a luxuriously affordable £119 (Rs.12, 000), whereas a Junior Suite at 51 Buckingham Gate from £300 (Rs. 30,000).
