Something’s cooking! Smoke House Deli opens its latest outlet in Colaba, Mumbai with arty interiors, hearty meals, and a dose of Vitamin-sea!

Here is a dose of good news coming from the world of gastronomy. If food is your entire world then it just got brighter by the newest entrant, the delightfully peculiar Smoke House Deli 2.0. Many accolades and 12 years of love and labor later, the team at Impresario are making their newest outpost be in Colaba. Life just got better as beautifully crafted European comfort food will now come in artistically crafted quirky space. While we are on the subject of new things, the Smoke House Charcuterie is a fantastic one complete with house-cured meats and sausages made using their in-house smoker.

The country’s best-loved European cafe now includes delights like Sausage Chilli, Smoke House Charcuterie Meat Lover’s Pizza, and the Pastrami Cheese Steak Calzone in its indulgent menu. Keeping in tune with the tastes of current times, the menu also incorporates vegan, gluten-free, and keto-friendly diets. Jaydeep Mukherjee, Business Head, Smoke House Deli states, “Colaba has an old-world charm that’s unique to the area and holds a special place in my heart. With the reimagined Smoke House Deli, the entire process is a return to my roots in a new and improved avatar. As the country’s best-loved European cafe, our new Colaba outpost boasts of a menu that maintains our signature flavors and ethos towards clean, fresh, and wholesome food. Smoke House Deli is, and always has been, a conscious champion of sustainable and seasonal produce, and we’re sure that our patrons will resonate with it.”

About the interiors, Sanya Desai, Experience Designer, Impresario Handmade Restaurants states, “The interiors for Smoke House Deli, Colaba build on the SHD 2.0 design language developed by Restore Design while adapting it to the context of this iconic corner location. The previously boarded-up arched windows have been restored to bring in a lot more natural light. The artwork is influenced by all things Colaba – boats in the harbor metamorphosing into soft lotus leaves, potted tetrapods, our resident feline Salem’s polaroids of the district, and of course, Salem’s art gallery on the second floor. All the illustrations tie our new outpost to South Mumbai’s rich history.”
