iPhone 6S and 6S Plus is all set the hit the Indian market just in time for Diwali. However, sadly price wise it’s not the best place to buy an iPhone. Apple confirmed that the new models iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be available in the Indian market from next month. This announcement has put an end to the wait for the release. The prices of the smartphones will differ based on the available storage space.
The iPhone 6s with 16 GB is priced Rs.62,000, 64GB variant will be available at Rs.72,000 and 128GB variant at Rs.72,000. Relatively, iPhone 6s Plus starts at Rs.72,000 for 16 GB, Rs.82,000 for 64GB and Rs.92,000 for the 128 GB variants. Which means, that if you buy an iPhone in India, you are actually paying Rs. 20,000 extra that from someone in USA. The iPhone 6S, which features a better camera and a pressure-sensitive display, is certainly a better phone than its predecessor, the iPhone 6, but seriously, these prices, which might be because of a weaker rupee, are a little astounding.
These prices are making Apple enthusiasts in India to think twice before buying the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. So, will you join the Apple wagon, or look for alternatives?
