Luxury has a new address in Bangalore. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, the master of global luxury hospitality, is launching its first property in India. The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, a 250-room, five-star property, will open by month end, in the nation’s third-largest city in 2013.
The prestigious Ritz Carlton is entering India in collaboration with Nitesh Estates, Bangalore’s luxury property developer. The lavish hotel with several high-end luxury amenities will have 277 rooms, a 15,000 sq.ft. Spa by ESPA, and six upscale F and B outlets. The property, spread over 3 acres, will have a ballroom capacity for 1,000 people too. The prestigious hotel will offer extensive meeting and events space, a luxurious spa and outdoor swimming pool, and an entire floor dedicated to high- end retail store boutiques. In addition to the deluxe flamboyance, the spacious hotel will include The Ritz-Carlton Club, a private floor accessible only by elevator key and offering light fare and dedicated concierge service throughout the day.
The Ritz Carlton, Bangalore is expected to start its full operations by November 2013, the room tariffs will be starting from Rs 13,500 to Rs 16,000 per night. The Ritz-Carlton currently operates 80 hotels in the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean and has more than 30 hotel and residential projects around the globe in its pipeline.
