While the clinic has three branches in the city which are located at Kemps Corner, Bandra and Andheri, I had my experience booked at the Kemps Corner one. First look and I was convinced that the clinic boasts of a great combination of a medical office in a spa-like environment which was a true brownie point. Moreover, I was impressed by all the hygiene and social distancing protocols followed by the clinic, keeping in the Covid situation in mind: thorough temperature and health checks, disposable materials that were provided, constant sanitization, and social distancing, they adhered to it all.
To start off, I had an intensive consultation with Dr. Apratim Goel who is at the helm of it all. Dr. Goel did a thorough checkup of my skin, asked me about my skincare routine, and suggested relevant areas I could treat with some really useful medication and treatments. I was then ushered to my treatment room by my polite aesthetician for the Oxygeneo Facial.
I soaked into the aura of the treatment room: with the serene music and amazing fragrances. The facial comprises three key steps: exfoliation, oxygenation, and nourishment. It throws in cleansing, a good amount of dead skin removal, exfoliation, and the best part of it: the newly launched Genoa Oxy Pods that combine the ground-breaking concepts in Biology, Chemistry, and Technology within one little capsule. What’s interesting is that the active ingredients are stored in their suspended state, activated only on reaction with the unique Geneo Primer Gel.
My aesthetician used the OxyPod with OxyGeneo device and the Primer Gel which helped not just with the exfoliation but also much-needed oxygenation and nourishment. The Geneo Serum further enhanced it all. I was told that this serum is uniquely formulated to complete the benefits achieved with the OxyPod by providing nutrition to the skin via a synergistic combination of active ingredients.
I also noticed that the treatment helps improve skin oxygen levels and infusion of valuable products to enrich the skin. The simultaneous skin exfoliation along with skin oxygenation optimized the absorption of the valuable components in the nutrient-rich gels into the skin.
Another plus was that the exfoliation felt very refreshing and comfortable.

And over the next few days, even after ditching my foundation, I’m struck by how shiny my skin looks. The light from the window is beaming off my cheekbones and forehead in a most agreeable way. I put my foundation away and go nude for the first time in many, many months. As the resulting fresh-faced, wide-awake glow makes my skin equivalent to “a big drink of water”. I’m glowing and how!
