OnePlus has launched a new “McLaren Edition” of the 7T Pro, which was announced alongside the standard 7T Pro. Just like the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition launched last year, the special edition comes with aesthetic changes that differentiate it from standard variant and 4GB of extra RAM for a McLaren-like speedier performance. Other than that, all the specs are identical to the OnePlus 7T Pro. It comes with 256GB of internal storage, which is paired with McLaren Edition’s 12GB of RAM. It also gets Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 Plus mobile chip which is claimed to be 15 percent faster GPU performance and than the stock standard 855. It also gets the same vertically stacked camera array, pop-up selfie camera and 6.67-inch display with 1,440 by 3,120 resolution.
In terms of aesthetic mods, the McLaren Edition gets black glass backplate with a silvery wood grain-like pattern, which is more prominently visible near the camera module. In addition to that, as seen on the previous OnePlus McLaren edition, it features plenty of Papaya Orange accents as a nod to the British automaker’s official colour. The McLaren Edition has an orange highlight on the bottom edge that accentuates the black colour, along with an orange alter slider and the bezel around the camera module. The special edition phone comes with a black McLaren Edition charger and an orange woven cable. It also ships with a special phone case that features a familiar carbon fibre Kevlar pattern along with a patch of suede-like material in the middle and the OnePlus and McLaren logos in silver. The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition is priced at Rs 58,999, which is Rs 5000 more than the standard 7T Pro.
