Gear up for an extravagant meal of a reinvented Indian cuisine at Ziya by none other than world renowned, twice Michelin starred, Chef Vineet Bhatia. The restaurant, situated at The Oberoi in South Mumbai, is hosting the returning cook for a week in the month of February, from the 8th till the 13th. Chef Vineet returns in order to commemorate his new menu for the restaurant which includes variations of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes along with a few contemporary staples. The new menu is dazzled with white chocolate soup spiced with coconut, ginger & saffron, grilled curry leaf-chilli lobster, broccoli khichdi, spiced lobster jus, and cocoa powder dusting Venezuelan chocolate chilli chicken amongst other extraordinary dishes.
Chef Vineet, the first Indian Michelin starred chef, is definitely not a stranger to the cuisine and has been the creator of the existing menus for a long while. The restaurant prides itself on being able to give its customers an haute dining experience with its traditional deep-rooted Indian flavors that are blended to perfection with international ingredients, something Chef Vineet has mastered over the years. Despite his international success, world travelling and tasting experiences he still remains faithful to his homeland tastes.
The restaurant, Ziya, has a delicate, fine splendor to it with its gold themed ambience and cutlery. The guests can watch the chefs at action in the glass enclose kitchen or just sit back and enjoy the calming view of the ocean during the day or marvel at the twinkling queen’s necklace in the evenings.
From 8th-13th February, lunch will be served between 12:30 p.m. to 2.45 p.m; while dinner timings are from 7.00 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. All the dishes are pre-plated.
