Men, is the change of weather drying your hair out? Kiehl’s Damage Repairing & Rehydrating Range is here to help

Like most men, when it comes to issues of the mane, dry scalp tops the list for me. And as a result of the dryness I also have to face a whole plethora of other problems – think scalp flaking, frizziness, itching, irritation and the worst – the lack of luster and shine in my hair. And so this monsoon, I decided that before the weather starts getting cooler and my scalp problems start getting worse, I ought to switch up my hair care regime for a bit. Cue Kiehl’s Damage Repairing & Rehydrating range. Infused with moringa tree oil and hydrating hyaluronic and ceramides, this range claims to smooth and fortify hair fibers and improve manageability. But does it love up to its promise? Read my review to find out!

First up, I lathered a good amount of Kiehl’s Damage Repairing & Rehydrating Shampoo into my hair. I was straight up impressed by the fragrance of the citrusy moringa, and the fact that the shampoo created just the right amount of foam – not too little, not too much – just enough to leave your scalp feeling clean and fresh. Which is an achievement in itself considering the shampoo’s sulfate-free, silicone-free and paraben-free formulation?

After I rinsed out the shampoo thoroughly, I followed up with a gentle dab of Kiehl’s Damage Repairing & Rehydrating Conditioner. I was happy to note that with this lightweight conditioner; even just a little does a lot. Also for me, the true litmus test of a good conditioner lies in the ease with which it washes out – this conditioner rinsed off quickly, much to my satisfaction.

Post-shower, I did a quick tumble dry and then proceeded to apply a hint of Kiehl’s Damage Repairing & Rehydrating Leave-In Treatment onto my damp hair itself. This did the trick for me. Enriched with moringa tree oil, hyaluronic and coconut oil this serum is a treat for dry and damaged hair. I used just one pump, spread it evenly between my palms and applied it to my hair. That was enough to leave my mane feeling healthier, smoother and tons fresher.

Parting thoughts? Yes, I will be using more of this range for a while. I am a fan of the scent, the natural ingredients and the easability of the products. I’d give Kiehl’s Damage Repairing & Rehydrating collection 3.5 out of 5 stars, with the Leave-In Treatment being my favourite from the range.

The Kiehl’s Damage Repairing & Rehydrating is available on Kiehl’s website and their stores across the country. The shampoo costs Rs 2,200 for a 250 ml bottle, the conditioner costs RRs 2,500 for a 200ml bottle and the Leave-In Treatment sells for Rs 2500 for a 75 ml bottle.
