Marriott International Inc. is bound to make you feel proud about our nation. Yeah, you read it right. It is launching its first-ever mobile food truck in India called ‘Marriott on Wheels’. Their signature delicacies like Mutton Tikka Quesadillas, Karaikudi Chicken Wings, Kosha Mangsho Kathi and many more will be served on-board by their Executive Chef. From Mumbai, it will be a guest to Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Lucknow, Pune, Madurai and Kochi, covering a distance of 6761 km over 40 days.
In Mumbai, Mr. Craig Smith, President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Marriott International and Mr. Neeraj Govil, Area Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International along with actor and producer Saif Ali Khan turned on its engines. It will take the center stage at some of the most prevalent hubs for two days in each city, such as Food Truck Park in Ahmedabad, Sahara Market Plaza in Lucknow and Info Park in Kochi.
Marriott International Inc. aims to strengthen its F&B of brands like – Courtyard, Fairfield, Four Points by Sheraton and Aloft Hotels. When asked more about it, Neeraj Govil, Area Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International Inc. did not hesitate to comment, “With culinary experiences driving the focus for Marriott this year, the launch of ‘Marriott on Wheels’ is yet another initiative that showcases our strength and leadership in the F&B industry.”
