The award-winning Indian Accent restaurant has opened at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai. From its gourmet cuisine and striking interiors to its iconic location, it promises to engage all your senses.

The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, aka NMACC, is a hub of culture, arts, and performances. With the opening of the award-winning restaurant Indian Accent in Mumbai’s cultural center, NMACC will also be known as a culinary destination. The 75-seat restaurant will be helmed by Head Chef Rijul Gulati, an ace chef who churned his magic for eight years at Indian Accent, New Delhi, under the guidance of Culinary Director Chef Manish Mehrotra. The eatery fuses Mumbai’s art deco heritage with that era’s design, music, and cocktails. The world’s leading modern Indian restaurant reinvents Indian flavours and cooking by marrying it with innovation and creativity.

Chef Manish Mehrotra shared, “We are most excited about bringing Indian Accent to Mumbai. In addition to Indian Accent’s signature dishes, Chef Rijul and I have taken care to craft a menu that features more seafood and many more vegetarian options, recognizing the dining habits and seasonal produce of this great metropolis.” Indian Accent favorites like meetha aachar pork ribs, ghee roast soya boti, roomali roti pancake, daulat ki chaat, rose petal chikki will enthrall guests.

Mumbaikars will find familiarity in dishes like gunpowder prawns, red rice, smoked chili & raw mango curry, guchhi matar, asparagus, Kashmiri morel pulao, and burrata chaat, lotus root papdi. Keeping healthy lifestyles and food choices in mind, Indian Accent Mumbai would also offer Vegan, Gluten-free, and Jain menus. EHV International has brought gastronomic delight to the City of Dreams.

Restaurateur Rohit Khattar, Chairman of EHV, said, “For many years, we have been offered locations in Mumbai for Indian Accent. Our search has ended at the spectacular Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. Indian Accent has a loyal clientele of discerning guests from Mumbai. So we are particularly thrilled to be able to bring the Indian Accent experience to this vibrant city and look forward to it embracing us as warmly as New Delhi and New York has.”

The restaurant’s interiors are as much an enchantment as the food on the table. The restaurant features two private dining rooms; one with a capacity of 18 and the other that seats 10. Every nook and corner is heavily inspired by Mumbai’s Art Deco movement, which has over 200 art deco structures, second only to Miami. It is the brainchild of prolific London-based Russell Sage Studio that effectively embeds the city’s easy-going vibe making it one of the most iconic addresses in Mumbai to satiate the soul.
