Gucci Timepieces and Jewellery brings its timeless collection ‘Coupe’ to India. The new men’s model to the Gucci Coupé collection is distinguished by a rounded square case.
Each timepiece features a Swiss Made quartz chronograph movement with a case crafted in sun-brushed stainless steel, black or grey PVD. This new variant is now presented in an extra-large, brand new 44mm size with three extensions in grey, black, or navy. The generous 44mm size enables easy readability of all functionalities: three sub-dials, Super Luminova indexes, and date counter at 4 o’clock. A final sporty detail is seen in the two push buttons and red striped crown. The watches are illustrious by a unique leather-clad case, in a choice of black, dark brown, camel or white calfskin. Both the bracelet and the clasp feature Gucci’s iconic horsebit. The dial also bears the logo of Guccio Gucci’s signature at the top and the year 1921.
Frida Giannini is the mastermind behind all of the collections. Giannini’s designs fluctuate within this area of tension. They celebrate the traditional return to renowned motifs from the brand’s history and interpret these with a convincingly modern twist, without any hint of nostalgia. The watches live up to the spirit of the Coupé sports cars that inspired this collection. The special edition watches have been priced at Rs. 1 lac and above.
Gucci has its own special aura: modern touches are mixed with an almost provocative level of luxury; traditional qualities melded with uncompromising standards and capricious exuberance with sexy self-awareness.
