Goa’s eminent Restaurant Thalassa comes to Mumbai

The beautiful Greek restaurant Thalassa, which embraces the Vagator beach in Goa arrives in Mumbai. Starting from Wednesday, September 11, Thalassa is setting up at the Mahalaxmi outpost of Olive Bar and Kitchen for a few months.

Thalassa, a white-washed tavern located in a beautiful hilltop overlooking small Vagator’s beach, will feature its signature appetizers, salads, mains, wraps and grills, in a pop up spot at Olive. The restaurant, which is famous for Greek pizza, fried feta, beef moussaka, stuffed sardines and risottos and lasagnas is the best way to indulge without traveling. However, the Mumbai pop-up of the restaurant located inside the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, guests will have to settle for stable-side as opposed to expansive seaside views, which is one of the main draws at Thalassa. For the launch, Mariketty and the Olive team recreated an entirely new menu with an abundance of fresh, seasonal ingredients cooked in traditional Greek style. There will be fresh seafood, authentic grills, traditional stuff like Souvlaki wraps and more. The menu will please both vegetarian and non-vegetarian customers.

The cost to enjoy Greek food at Thalassa Pop Up in Mumbai will be 15 per cent higher that the price of dishes at Goa. Thus, a cost for two people will turn out to be Rs.3,000 excluding alcohol.
