Get set to buy some hoodies as Gap finally sets shop in Mumbai. Couple of months after opening stores in New Delhi and Bangalore, the brand finally comes to the fashion capital with two stores in the city.
Gap has opened a 6,000 sq ft store in Oberoi Mall, Goregaon in Mumbai after ethnic wear brand Nalli shut their store in the mall. At Infiniti Mall, Malad, the store is spread across 8,000 sq ft and has opened after Reliance Trend shut shop in the mall. Loved for its comfy denims, classic tees and logo hoodies, the label will launch in Mumbai with its spring/summer line for women, and men. Gap will offer the GapKids and babyGap Spring 2016 collection in the stores among others.
Expect to find humidity-friendly pieces like cotton tees, short shorts, slouchy tanks, floral print frocks and girlfriend khakis. Plus, all-season staples like workout gear (Gapfit), pajamas (Gapbody) and underthings, like bras and camis, in the typical Gap rainbow of shades.
