BMW plans to make heads turn with its releases at the Auto Expo 2016 in Noida, India. The German automotive giant has recently unveiled its reinvented X5 SUV, called the BMW X5 xDrive30d M Sport. Locally produced at the BMW plant in Chennai, the diesel variant of the car will soon hit dealerships across the country. Under its chunky hood, the X5 xDrive30d M Sport packs a 3.0 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder in-line diesel engine. The powerhouse uses Common Rail direct injection as well as a turbo charger with variable turbine geometry. Together, this unleashes a power output of 190 kW / 258 hp and 560 Nm of torque.
The car sports the M Aerodynamics package with an air breather, air curtains and aero blades. The ‘M’ badge on front wings and M designation on the door sill strip give this SUV a sportier edge. BMW has also thrown in 48.26 cm M light alloy wheels, Adaptive LED Headlights, a matte black front grille and just the right amount of curves and edges. Inside, the BMW X5 xDrive30d M Sport comes with electrically adjustable front seats upfront, a Panorama glass roof, a 26 cm color display with 3D maps, 16 loud speakers with a 600 Watt high-end Surround Sound system from Harman Kardon and lots more.
