A new luxury car is ready to take off in town, as Bentley has announced the launch of the 2015 Flying Spur V8 in India. Highlighting the newV8 motor, the ultra luxurious car joins the existing Flying Spur W12.
One of the most powerful 4 door Bentley in India, the Flying Spur comes from a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine that puts out 616bhp and 81.57kgm of torque. The behemoth is mated to ZF’s 8-speed automatic gearbox with permanent all-wheel drive setup. The powertrain propels the super car from naught to 100km/h in 5.2 seconds before topping out at 295km/h.
Combining a luxurious and spacious cabin featuring handcrafted wood veneers and leather as well as a suite of on-board technology to make this Bentley the ideal place for work or relaxation on the move; the Flying Spur V8 nevertheless maintains a performance edge. Subtle styling differentiates the Flying Spur V8 from its W12 sibling, including figure of eight chromed exhaust finishers and a red center to the Bentley Wings badges to denote the V8 engine. The front lower bumper grills are finished in black.
The base price of new Flying Spur V8 is Rs. 3.10 cr ex showroom (subject to options & exchange rate fluctuations).
