Ducati has officially launched its flagship superbike, the 2025 Panigale V4, in the Indian market with prices starting at ₹29.99 lakh for the standard variant, while the higher-spec V4 S commands ₹36.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2025 model continues to be powered by the 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, now Euro 5+ compliant, producing 216hp at 13,500rpm and 120.9Nm of torque at 11,250rpm. When equipped with the optional racing exhaust, power jumps to an impressive 225hp.

In a notable departure from tradition, Ducati has replaced the iconic single-sided swingarm with a conventional “hollow symmetrical swingarm” design. This is the first Ducati flagship supersport since the legendary 916 to feature a double-sided swingarm. The new setup reduces lateral stiffness and weight, improving traction when exiting corners.

The standard variant gets fully adjustable Showa suspension, while the S variant boasts Öhlins electronic suspension that can be adjusted on the go. Both models feature the world’s first Brembo Hypure calipers, claimed to offer superior heat dissipation during intense riding sessions.

Visually, the Panigale V4 gets a redesigned fairing inspired by the iconic Ducati 916 and recent MotoGP bikes, with distinctive V-shaped DRLs. The new design reduces aerodynamic resistance by 4 percent and features repositioned winglets that maintain the same downforce as before.

The electronics package has been upgraded with a new 6.9-inch TFT dashboard and Race eCBS system developed by Bosch in collaboration with Ducati. This system monitors lean angle, throttle position, and rear load to automatically apply rear braking when needed. Other electronic aids include traction control, wheelie control, launch control, and five riding modes.

At ₹29.99 lakh, the standard 2025 Panigale V4 commands a premium of approximately ₹2.27 lakh over the outgoing model, while the V4 S at ₹36.50 lakh is about ₹3 lakh dearer than its predecessor. Deliveries have already begun, with the first lot reportedly sold out.
